UNTAMED

The city is about to be destroyed by primal magicks. Can it be stopped?

PHASE ONE: There are an unusual number of kittens, puppies, and other cute "pet" animals in the city. Close examination shows them to have tiny leaves and mushroom caps. Their fur is actually very soft pine needles.

The faux pets produce spores that cause people to pass out and have pleasant dreams. The effect is addictive, and resistance can be built up like to any other drug.

PHASE TWO: Once the plant creatures grow to adulthood, they begin to attract honeybees. They become territorial, bonding to a group of humans and showing hostility to all others. Their spores remain pleasurable to those the creatures have bonded with, but to others, the spores now cause terrible, disturbing nightmares.

Nonliving things near the creatures experience accelerated entropy, rotting and falling apart faster, and living things experience more vigor as well as increased fecundity and fertility.

PHASE THREE: After reaching a certain threshold, the creatures will gather together one night, and with a great cry of joy, burn to ash.

Every structure within a six mile radius will become a ruin, covered with moss, ivy, kudzu, or some other appropriate plant or fungi. Trees, jungle, or marshland will spring up instantly, swallowing the city.

Oh wow, you managed to get a lot on this card, and it took several twists I never would've imagined let alone guessed! I think this is a major story to not only begin but also run through, and again, it's wild it's all on a single card!
