Success
A downloadable diceless TTRPG
A simple little tabletop RPG where the default assumption is that player characters succeed. Oh, and it's diceless.
This is a RPG that I wrote in the late 90s / early 00s. The original copyright says 2001, but that might just be the last time I updated it before 2024. Rescued from oblivion via the Wayback Machine and put into the Creative Commons. More on that later.
It's four pages long, with another two pages of optional / variant rules, and a page of acknowledgements. Seven pages total, which is a lot for a game this simple, but I haven't gotten much less long-winded since 2001.
I've mostly cleaned it up and got rid of a couple bits that hadn't aged well, and put things in there (safety rules, for example) that I wouldn't have even imagined in 2001 but are definitely worth having. But it's largely intact, a snaphot of bleeding edge RPG technology from the turn of the century. 👍

NO BIGOTRY: Please don’t use any text from this game or my name in any product that promotes or condones white supremacy, racism, misogyny, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, fat antagonism or other bigotry against marginalized groups.
BTW, I do not own the adorably dorky lo-res thumbs up kid I've used for art here. I downloaded the little doofus in the late 1990s before I thought about things like copyright, which I regret. If someone knows who owns the kid or if there's a clip art collection they're from, let me know.
